Jon Heisman is the Owner and Director of Black Bear Lacrosse. In his playing days, he was selected as an All-American defenseman and captain of the Ithaca College Bombers for three years. Jon is currently the Head Lacrosse Coach at West Chester East. He will be the defensive coordinator for the Chester County Black Bear Travel Teams.
Paul Deniken has been playing and coaching lacrosse for twenty-seven years. An All-American attackman at Washington College, Paul played professional lacrosse for the Philadelphia Wings for nine seasons, winning world championships in four of those campaigns. After his playing career as a pro, Paul has coached at the professional level for the Wings, the Philadelphia Barrage and is currently the Assistant Coach of the New York Titans of the NLL.He will be the offensive coordinator for the Chester County Black Bear Travel Teams.

Marty Mullen will coach the Elite team
Marty Mullen has completed his first season as assistant head coach of the Immaculata University men's lacrosse team.
Prior to his arrival at Immaculata, Mullen was the assistant varsity/head junior varsity coach at Bishop Shanahan High School for seven years. He is also the head coach for the Falcons Lacrosse Club, a select team that travels throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Mullen transferred to West Chester University, after spending two years at St. Joseph's University, where he was part of the Hawks first recruiting class. As a Golden Ram, Mullen was a member of the squad that captured the ECAC Championship 1998.
Mullen is a frequent contributor at area lacrosse camps, including the Chester County Lacrosse Camp and the Elite Lacrosse Camp. He currently plays for the Black Banana Lacrosse Club of the American Lacrosse League.
Erik Fink will coach the U-15 Blue Team
Coach Fink began his lacrosse career under the Legendary Stu Brown in Springfield Delaware County as 4th grader. Coach Fink's senior year at Springfield High School, he played for Black Bear's own Jon Heisman. It was coach Heisman's first year "on the Pike". Continuing his career at The Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and later transferring to Drexel University where he was a two year co-captain, he garnered numerous lacrosse honors at both institutions. He has been a Coach in the West Chester Youth Lacrosse League for 13 seasons. Coach Fink's father Dennis is a member of the Pennsylvania Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
Jim Holleran will coach Select Blue
Jim has coached youth Lacrosse in the West Chester Lax League for nearly 14 years. He played a key role in establishing the travel teams for the program, and has coached at all age levels of Youth Lax. A First Team All State selection at Harriton High School, Jim began his college career at Mount St. Mary's College before transferring to Penn State University. He has been involved with Lax as a player and coach for over 25 years. Recently, Jim was the head coach of the Keystone State Games (Chester County) team that won the gold medal the past 2 years.
Paul Meyers will coach U-13
Paul Meyers has extensive coaching experience at the high school level. Meyers, a 2002 "Legends of the Game" award winner, has coached for nine years at Springfield High School and five years at West Chester East. Meyers has also been the head football coach at Bishop Shanahan High School for the past eight years.
Matt McCormick will coach the Elite team
Had a solid rookie season in University City…has the chance to be a
solid college defenseman…returning starter on defense…has an eye for
the ball and understands the game from the defensive end.
2007: Was named to the CAA's All-Rookie Team in his first
season…started all 16 games and had 39 ground balls, second on the
team…picked up six ground balls in win vs. Villanova and had five or
more three times…was a key member of the man-down unit.
Background: Played his high school lacrosse at Malvern Prep…served as
captain as a senior when he led Malvern to the state championship…named
All-Main Line, All-Area and All-State as a senior.
