COMMITMENT: Playing for Black Bear requires a team commitment. Our teams have a full schedule for the season and will continue to the fall and winter. The teams play at the highest high school level against the best teams from around the country. If you are slected to join our program, we require that you fully accept the commitment: you are part of a team-you are needed at each and every event. We understand the importance and priority of family events during the summer. We will do our absolute best to provide you with details on the team schedule as soon as possible.

COST: Cost for the 2008 Season: MONTCO: $395.00   CHESTCO: $450.00

PAYMENTS:
A deposit of $200 is due by March 15th, 2008 for invited players
Balance of the annual fee will be due by May 15th, 2008

UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT:
Players are required to have a Black Bear Helmet, Jersey and Shorts. Helmets and shorts do not need to be re-purchased each year by returning players. Jerseys will be updated each season.

Tournament Fees:  A separate charge for each event and will vary. Tournament fees will be due at least 2 weeks prior to each event or as directed. Players are responsible for travel, lodging, meals, entry fees and other accommodations. Fees for each tournament event average $100. Fees for the tournament camps are $450-$550 per event and include lodging and meals for players

Summer - Fall Seasons:  If selected to join, your season fee includes both the summer and the fall seasons for the team. Many players are not available for the fall season beacuse of other sports. At this time we will re-organize the teams with available players and also add some new players that are not able to play during the summer

Refund Policy:  Black Bear Lax does NOT give refunds once paid.  Black Bear LAX will consider refund requests only upon prior written notice to the Director.  Many expenses are pre-paid months in advance and there are no guarantees that we will get refunds from tournaments and companies.

We have three teams this year. Each team will be competing at the highest level of play for their division. In many situations, players may be asked to play for either team. This will depend on player availability at each event, position requirements and coach selection. For each event, we will ALL be organized as one Black Bear group and support each other as our teams play. At each event with both teams, we will have a single Black Bear location-meeting spot with team supplies for everyone.
